SECRET SOCIETY
Notes of bourbon, clove, and the sweetest of honey
The bend of a book spine, the dark drip of bourbon onto the dusty floor. Donna Tartt's The Secret History comes to mind when this candle is lit. The beauty of madness, the richness of clove and forgotten ancient literature waiting to be unveiled. The turn of aged paper, the lighting of a cigarette in an ivory holder, gripped between the fingers of a writer at work. This scent drapes you in a haunting sweetness, with a pen dipped in the richest of bourbons, and tinted old clove.
FOR IDEAL BURN:
Be sure to trim the wick before lighting. Your wick should between around 1/8”. If your flame is flickering excessively, or too high, or if the flame is smoking, your wick should be trimmed. Always burn until the wax of the surface is melted from edge to edge— this will prevent tunneling and extend the life of your candle. Do not burn for more than 4 hours. Always burn on a heat-resistant surface and never leave unattended.
